Kate O'Connor secured 894 pts in the women's 100mH. She has just cleared 1:81 in the HJ, a personal best

 

Patience Jumbo-Gula finished 4th in H4 of the women's 100m, just missing out on an automatic Qualification but went through to the semi-final, as a fastest qualifier.  She runs in H2, lane 1 this evening at 17:20 Irish time. First 2 in each heat Qualify automatically, and then next two fastest (q) also advance

 

Simone Lalor finished 6th in heat 1 of the Women's 400m, missing out on a automatic qualification to the semi-finals

 

Sean Mocker threw 67.34m in the qualifying round of the Men's hammer, missing out on the final. James Kelly goes in Group B in the Men's Shot Putt at 1pm

 

Conor Morey, Leevale AC, ran 11.00 sec, placing 5th in Heat 1 of this morning's Men's 100m, and qualified for this evening's 100m Semi-Final, at approx 17:38pm

 

Sophie O'Sullivan placed 3rd in the Women's 800m, Heat 2, in a time of 2:06.96, behind Keely Hodgkinson and Sophia Favalli



Another great qualification in the Women's 800m by Jo Keane, placing 3rd in a time of 2:09.28

Seasons best for Patience Jumbo-Gula, in the Women's 100m semi-final, finishing 6th in a time of 11.69sec, just missing out on a fastest qualifier place in the final

 

Conor Morey finishes 7th in a time of 10.71, in the Men's 100m semi-finals, missing out on the final tomorrow evening.

 

Sarah Healy finishes 2nd in the qualifying round of the Women's 1500m. She is now comfortably through to the Women's 1500m final, at 6:33pm on Sunday, with an automatic qualification spot

 

Another PB for Kate O'Connor, in the Women's Heptathlon 200m, running 24.82sec. She is in a great position going into tomorrow's long jump, in 3rd place, only 71 pts behind the leader.

Shay McEvoy comes through strong to take the 5th and final automatic qualifying spot in heat 1 of the Men's 3000m
