County Track and Field Championships Schedule 2024

Schedule for County Track and Field Championships 2024

cork athletics juvenile track and field championships 2017

The Officers of the County Board, together with the members of the Juvenile T&F committee, met last week, to finalise county championship events for 2024

It was agreed to prioritise throwing events for all ages, together with track and jumps for under 9 to under 14, as these athletes may not have the opportunity to take part in South Munster Schools competitions. With no track available in Cork it was decided to host two days in Castleisland, where there is adequate parking, and the appropriate facilities. In addition, it ensures that Cork can hold its County relay events, which allow direct qualification to All Ireland relays, for certain age groups

A third day, at the Banteer AstroTurf facility, has been added, to facilitate sprint and middle distance track races for under 9 to under 14 athletes

The pole vault will continue, as planned, on the evening of Monday 13th May at the Leevale High Performance Centre

The following events have been set up on the Entry 4 Sport System
