The 2024 event is back under the management of Cork City Councilm under Race Director Eamonn Hayes. On the Podcast, Eamonn outlines plans for the 2024 Event, outlining the team he's building around him. One key item that will please many, is that Fran Lynch, who managed water for the event from 2007 to 2019, is backdoing this again with the Marathon.  Medals for the event are reverting to metal again

There's lots more on the podcast, including discussion on the high-quality T-Shirts for 2024, and much, much more..... and, by the way, 2024 entries are outstripping last year's entries................  So....Get in There!  You'll be in good company!!

The 2024 Cork City Marathon will start in Patrick Street, at 8:15am, on Sunday June 2nd 2024, with the 10k following 30 minutes later at 8:45am, while the Half-Marathon will start on Monahan Road, at 10:15am, with all three races finishing in Patrick Street

The Runners Diary Podcast, now in its 78th edition, has developed into a huge enterprise, with an ever-growing audience, from far and wide, with weekly interviews with a wide range of athletics personalities, from elite athletes and coaches, local athletics personalities, and athletics administrators who make, often, perhaps, significant unseen contributions to our sport
