Athletics Ireland / Irish Runner Yearbook - Fixtures Listing

Irish Runner Yearbook 2017 - Fixtures Listing Deadline

Friday November 4th 2016

Irish Runners Setting the Pace

The Deadline for inclusion of Registered Events is Friday next, November 4th!

Message from Frank Greally, Editor, The Irish Runner

"The Headline Racing Fixtures - Road, Cross-Country, Marathon & Track & Field will be listed in a special section of Irish Runner Yearbook which goes to press in early November. This is an opportunity to have Events sanctioned by your County Board avail of FREE listing. The Irish Runner Yearbook is widely read, and will be used as a Reference Guide by several thousand runners when planning their Racing Calender for 2017

I would therefore be grateful if you could encourage Race Promoters in your area to apply Early to Athletics Ireland for a permit for their 2017 event. The Events Calender is already filling up at a rapid rate and it will be important for promotoers to get their Dates for 2017 sanctioned and listed

An event can only be listed in Irish Runner Yearbook if an application for an Athletics Ireland Permit has been made to the local county board. If the application has been submitted by the County Board to Athletics Ireland HQ, the listing can be published with the tag- Permit Applied For. Other events that have dates approved will have tag line Permit Granted.

Your help in putting the best shape possible on the Events Calender for 2017 will be greatly appreciated. The CUT OFF Deadline for 2017 fixtures listings in Irish Runner Yearbook is FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH. Events wishing to be listed MUST have their details submitted to Athletics Ireland no later than that date
