Bad weather probably put paid to hopes of a big turnout at the 37th GOAL Mile at MTU Track this morning. Nevertheless several hundred runners and walkers had turned up by 11am, braving, sometimes, 'monsoon-like' conditions. This was particularly the case for the first race of the day
One of the fastest races of the day came in Race 3, won by Eoghan O'Connor, Belgooly AC, in 4:31, with his brother Darragh in second place
