Christmas Day Runs 2021

Cork Runs on Christmas Day

Saturday December 25th 2021

 

On Christmas Day, Saturday December 25th, we are back to the regular GOAL Mile venues, with runs in:

GOAL Mile Banner 2016 min

 

MTU (CIT) Track, Bishopstown, from 10:30am until 12 Noon

 Doneraile Park, from 10am until 12 Noon

St Catherine's GAA Grounds, Ballynoe, from 10am until 12 Noon


GOAL Mile Entry

Entry fee for the GOAL Mile is whatever you want to donate. Just turn up and put however much you want to donate into the bucket at the venue

Run, jog or walk. A mile is four laps of the track...and another 9.4m. If that's a bit long for you and you drop out after a lap or too, don't worry about it ....nobody will be counting!

Parkruns - 9:30am Christmas Day, December 25th

Saturday also sees some of the regular Parkruns around the County going ahead at the normal time of 9:30am, however several Parkruns have been cancelled (for the day that's in it)

12 Noon - Clonmel AC St. Stephen's Day 4 Mile, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary

About Us

Cork Athletics County Board is a constituent member of Athletics Ireland. Cork Athletics is the governing body, administering athletics, track and field (T&F), cross-country (XC) and running in county Cork. The Board comprises elected representatives of constituent athletic clubs and running clubs. Cork County Board AAI organises Championship races and competition, including road, track & field (T&F) and Cross-country (XC), at junior, juvenile, senior and masters levels, and selects representation for the county. In addition, training and education is provided for coaches and officials. The Board also regulates the Athletics Ireland race/event permit (licence) process for county Cork.
