Orla Barry takes Gold at IPC World Championships
Orla Barry, Leevale AC, has won Gold, in a competetive F57 Discus Final, at the IPC World Championships, in Grossetto, Italy, this afternoon. Orla threw a PB of 31:14m, in the final round.
Orla becomes the third Irish medalist, in the games, after Deirdre Mongan took Bronze, in the F53/54 Shot Put, on Saturday, while, yesterday, North Cork AC's Noelle Linehan took Gold in the F38 Discus.
