Fearghal Curtin at Loughborough Grand Prix

Fearghal Curtin, Youghal AC and Arizona State university ran a 13:49.91 PB, for second place, in the Men's 5000m 'A' race at yesterday's BMC Grand Prix, at Loughborough University, in the UK. Fearghal's performance moves him up from 73rd to 67th in the Irish All-Time 5000m standings. Togher AC's Liam Harris ran 14:20.26 in the same race, while Bantry man Darragh McElhinney, now with UCD AC, was also second, in the 1500m 'A' race, in 3:42.17.
