Leonard O'Regan of Leevale, home on holiday from Lousiana, where he is on scholarship, was an impressive winner of the Belgooly "10". It is a pity that the problems between the organisers and the Cork B.L.E. could not have been sorted out for the good of the sport, and certainly for the good of the race, which has always attracted a top class field.
