Direct Route from Riverstick Village - This is a narrowish road, and is not advisable for buses | Preferred Route for Buses - Continue on towards Belgooly, turning onto L3208, and on to L2494. Thiis is a wider road, with maintained hedging and no overhanging trees |
Continue through the Jack Lynch Tunnel and along the N40 South Ring Road, as far as the Kinsale Road Roundabout. Approaching the Kinsale Road Roundabout, take the slip-road to the Roundabout. At the then first left onto the N27 Kinsale Road (Airport Road)
At the Airport Roundabout, continue straight through, onto the R600 and continue on to Riverstick village. At the cross-roads in Riverstick, by the village church, turn left and continue on until you meet the L2494, where you again turn left. Continue for another Mile. The Venue is then on the right
Take the N27 South Link Road as far as Kinsale Road Roundabout. Continue directly through the Roundabout, towards Cork Airport and continue as above
Take the R611 Belgooly Road and continue for 2.2 Miles, then turn right onto the L2494 and continue for another 2 Miles. The venue is then on your left
Take the N22 and then continue on the N40, as far as the sliproad to the Kinsale Road Roundabout and, again, continue aonto the Kinsale Road, towards Cork Airport, and continue on, as above
The grounds are approx. 2.8 miles east of Riverstick village
Cork Athletics grounds at Slieveroe, Riverstick consists of thirty six (36) acres of grasslands, and includes a densely wooded area
Clubs are asked NOT to erect TENTS or Banners in Zone within Line of Sight between the Start Line and Finish Area, as this interferes with the smooth and timely operation of the Event. Clear sight is required between there locations, so that Starter and other Officials can see and communicate clearly
Parking & Facilities
NB: Parking along the roadway outside the grounds is NOT Permitted!
There is a hard stand area, for buses, just inside the entrance to the site. Alongside this, there is an extensive parking area
Buses will park on hard ground immediately on the left inside the gate
There is extensive parking available in the field
Car Parking for Officials will be available to the left inside the gate, below the partacabins/containers
• All Athletes taking part MUST be registered Athletics Ireland (AAI) Members
• Club Colours must be worn by all competitors
• Pacing of Athletes is PROHIBITED. Pacing will result in disqualification
• Clubs with fees outstanding from the Track and Field Season will be prohibited from taking part
• Entries by Email only – Entries by text or by phone will NOT be accepted
• Late entries will NOT be accepted

Drones are NOT permitted at this venue. These grounds are on the Flight Path to Cork Airport, and within 3km of the Airport and a special licence is required to operate a drone within this Exclusion Zone. Anyone operating a drone without one of these licences is liable to prosecution, as are Cork Athletics, for allowing the use of a drone at this event
Every person taking photos or videos at these Cross-Country Championships MUST register, on the day, with Cork Athletics Child Protection Officer, or other official. Those taking photos and/or videos may be required to wear identifying Hi-Viz vests. All images taken must comply with the codes/policies below.

Please do NOT bring dogs to the venue. Only Guide dogs, and other registered assistance dogs, are permitted at Cork Athletics venues, on health and safety grounds
