With a new Race HQ, in The City Hall, the 2023 route has been finalised. The route has reverted back to the same as previous years, taking in The Centre Park Road/Monahan Road loop, along with the Marina, Blackrock Village, Lakelands Walkway and the old Railway cutting
The race starts on Centre Park Road, and proceeds down to the Marina, turning right at the Lee Rowing Club, and heads towards Blackrock.
At the ramp to Pairc Ui Chaoimh, turn right, and immediately right, down the slope, sharp left into the Stadium carpark. Head directly ahead, then right again and follow the path over towards CAB motors, and continue on to Monahan Road
Proceed along Monahan road until you reach the junction with Blackrock Road, where the course turns right, at the Victoria Road roundabout, by the petrol station, and heads back through the start line, on Centre Park Road.
Continuing back down Centre Park Road for a second time, however, this time, the route continues right down the Marina, all the way to Blackrock Village. There will be a water station located on the Marina, just past Pairc Ui Chaoimh
At Blackrock Village, the course crosses the Promenade and heads up Castle Road
Passing Blackrock Castle, the route joins the Mahon/Lakelands Walkway, for approx. four miles. There will be another water station on this section. After the Old Railway Line section, the course comes out by the Atlantic Pond, and continues directly up Monahan Road and finishes by Kennedy Park
