St. Finbarr’s A.C. are delighted to organise a new race at the beginning of the cross-country season

10th September at Cork Show Grounds, Curraheen

 

Expressions of Interest (Required)

Entry Fee: €10 (Payable on the day)

 

Open to all adults! Club registered and non-club registered runners!

Great way to start off the Cross Country season ahead – Get back on the grass!

Great way to give Cross Country a try without yet being registered with a club

Calling all solo runners, social runners, club runners and park runners!!

Race Timetable

12 Noon - Beginners/ Intro to XC race AND O60 Men and Women - 4km

12:30pm - Open Womens (including Masters O40 & O50) - 6km

13:00 - Open Mens (including Masters O40 & O50) - 6km


Not Joined a Club? - Not a Bother!

Great way to give Cross-Country a try without yet being registered with a club -  calling all Social Runners, Solo Runners/Unattached, Mountain Runners and Parkrunners!!

Prizes

Prize giving & tea and sandwiches at Cork Show Grounds (sponsored by the Kingsley) post race at the venue

There will also be ‘ Recovery Boots’ from Beo Arís available to try out. Put the legs up with your cup of tea

We have a fab prize package including overnight stays at the Kingsley Hotel or Fota Island with breakfast included for winners of the 6km races (Men’s and Womens) AND 1st man & woman over the line in the 4km race

About Us

Cork Athletics County Board is a constituent member of Athletics Ireland. Cork Athletics is the governing body, administering athletics, track and field (T&F), cross-country (XC) and running in county Cork. The Board comprises elected representatives of constituent athletic clubs and running clubs. Cork County Board AAI organises Championship races and competition, including road, track & field (T&F) and Cross-country (XC), at junior, juvenile, senior and masters levels, and selects representation for the county. In addition, training and education is provided for coaches and officials. The Board also regulates the Athletics Ireland race/event permit (licence) process for county Cork.
