Four Online Webinars

8pm on four conseculive Mondays: March 20th & 27th and April 3rd & 10th 2023

This series aims to engage with the Athletics Ireland community, and help support those already involved (coaches & female athletes), while also encouraging anyone interested in getting involved with their local club

This 4 part series covers topics specific to the female athlete, and their supporting coaches. After attending each session, each participant will receive a full pdf of resources

The following is an overview of each webinar:

   8pm Monday March 20th - Working with the menstrual cycle


    8pm Monday March 27th - Communication & well-being - supporting the coaches


    Monday April 3rd @8.00pm -Getting girls involved in athletics & sports


    Monday April 10th @8.00pm -‘Oh the places you'll go’ - A panel interview event with Irish runners (Aoibhe Richardson and Sarah Quinn)

This online series is in collaboration with Orna Murray of Your Health Psychology. Orna who is a former international cross country athlete & national cross country champion,  has a  M.Sc in Health Psychology, BA in Applied Psychology, 500 YTT Yoga Teacher and Social Entrepreneur. She is also a member of the psychological society of Ireland and NLP practitioner


About Us

Cork Athletics County Board is a constituent member of Athletics Ireland. Cork Athletics is the governing body, administering athletics, track and field (T&F), cross-country (XC) and running in county Cork. The Board comprises elected representatives of constituent athletic clubs and running clubs. Cork County Board AAI organises Championship races and competition, including road, track & field (T&F) and Cross-country (XC), at junior, juvenile, senior and masters levels, and selects representation for the county. In addition, training and education is provided for coaches and officials. The Board also regulates the Athletics Ireland race/event permit (licence) process for county Cork.
