Traffic Management

A one way system will be in operation, to facilitate a shuttle bus to and from the Cross-Country course

Parking

The will be very limited parking at the venue itself, as a result of the effects of the recent bad weather. As can be appreciated, the weather, for the past two months or so, has been pretty wet, to say the least. The main parking area will be at the GAA club, and everyone is asked to please car-pool as much as possible. Car-pooling can be done from the starting point, or from the GAA club.

Bus Parking

Travelling buses should park at the GAA Club, as the width of the road to the venue is quite narrow. A shuttle bus will be in operation to take people to the venue.

Showers

Showers will be available at the GAA club

Sunday's Weather

It's a bit early for a reasonable degree of accuracy, however Sunday's forecast is for dry weather initially, with showers/light rain setting in, in the early afternoon, with a band of heavier rain passing off the south coast (let's hope it stays there!) in the late afternoon. Wind is forecast to be westerly and very light, while temperature forecast is for around 10C.

"A bit of info for anyone traveling Sunday to the Cross-Country: There is a Centra at both ends: Enniskeane and Ballineen.
O'Donovan's Centra is on the approach from Cork as you enter Enniskeane, most traffic will pass this one. It has a Car park to the rear or on-street parking, with entrances from the street and car park - A good Deli hot and cold food and great drinks and in-store bakery, with sit down or take-away options.

The second Centra is Tisdalls, at the west end of Ballineen. It has on-street parking, and is the smaller of the two stores. Hot drinks deli might be limited on a Sunday."

Tomorrow's Weather Forecast
As at 19:30 on Saturday Feb 6th, the weather forecast looks like it may be pretty rough later tomorrow afternoon, so best to come prepared for teh elements. Wind: Isobars are packed pretty tightly, so it may be quite windy - best to allow for wind-chill. The morning is expected to start dry, but rain will set in around mid-day, and is expected to be quite heavy by 3pm.
