The Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month for April is Shane Howard (Bandon AC and University of Limerick). At the Irish Inter-Varsity Track and Field Championships, held at the Cork IT track, on April 8th, Shane won the Long Jump with an impressive 7.31m jump.
This afternoon, Thursday June 1st, 2017, Shane Howard, Bandon AC and University of Limerick,, was the recipient of the Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month for April 2017, presented at a function in the River Lee.
