Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month - October 2022 - Award Citation
Michael Harty, East Cork AC, is the October recipient of the Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month
On the first Sunday of the Month, Michael produced a comprehensive performance, to claim his first Cork County Senior Cross-Country title, in Carrigadrohid. Michael also led his East Cork AC team to victory in the inter-club Championship
Later that month, he travelled to a high class 10km road race in Leeds, and clocked a new irish Over 40 record of 29min and 42sec
This is Michael's second Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month award, having previously received it in November 2015
