Tramore Valley Parkrun resumes this coming Saturday, July 16th 2022, after a lull of over six and a half years. The last Parkrun held here was on January 23rd, 2016, when a whopping 533 finishers ran the event

Entrance to Tramore Valley Park, from South Link Road

You have three choices when entering Tramore Valley Park

1  Drive-in Entrance from the N27 South Link Road

NB There is NO PEDESTRIAN ACCESS from the South Link - The Tramore Valley Parkrun was halted in 2016, after many Parkrunners, unable to find parking in Tramore Valley Park, due to large crowds attending, then parked in the Park and Ride facility on the opposite side of the dual carriageway, and then crossed the dual-carriageway on foot. There is NO pedestrian crossing into Tramore Valley Park, so PLEASE DON'T Attempt to cross the South Link Road

2  Pedestrian Entrance, via Half Moon Lane, from South Douglas Road

There is pedestrian access via the recently opened Half Moon Lane entrance. There is NO PARKING permitted on Half Moon Lane, and there is very limited parking available in the immediate surrounds. Your best option, if using the Half-Moon Lane access is to leave the car at home, and jog to the start. From the junction of Half Moon Lane/South Douglas Road to the start line will take only a 3 or 4 minute jog

3  Douglas Pedestrian Entrance

If you are coming from the Douglas side, consider using the entrance off South Douglas Road, adjacent to Gaelscoil an Sthair Tadgh.  It's abput a 15 minute jog from the entrance to the start line, so a grand route for a warm-up run
