Very quiet on the roads in Cork this week! Only the Willie Neenan Memorial 5 Mile in Milstreet on Friday night. The Defence Forces Oglaigh na hEireann 10 Mile on Thursday, but this event is closed to the public

On the T&F side, the fourth and final event of the Cork Open Track & Field Evening Meets is on Thursday night, at MTU Track. This will be the last opportunity, for quite a while, to get a track race in Cork, as the track is to be dug up and relaid after Tuesday week's Cork City Sports. On Saturday, we have the AAI Childrens Games, in Tullamore, with the National Juvenile T&F Championships also in Tullamore, on Sunday

Saturday's big T&F event is the Morton Games in Dublin, an appetiser for the 69th Cork City Sports, three days later, on Tuesday July 5th

On the Coaching front, there are two events on offer: Run Jump Throw Workshop (Evening 2) on Thursday and Cork Sports Partnership's Teenage Development Track & Field Night on Friday
