The Officers and Officials of Cork Athletics County Board extend their condolences and deepest sympathy to the Buckley family; his brothers and sisters: Paddy, Denis, Marjorie, John, Colleen, Donal, Joan, Kevin and the late Mary
Gerald was a prominent member of St Finbarrs AC for many years and won many cross country medals with the club
BUCKLEY (Clogheen, Blarney Road, Cork): On June 17th 2022, peacefully at home in the presence of his loving family, GERALD (former nursing staff of Our Lady’s Hospital), beloved son of the late Denis and Mary Buckley, loving brother of Pat (Paddy), Denis, Marjorie (McCarthy), John, Colleen (Lyons), Donal, Joan, Kevin and the late Mary (O'Donovan).
Sadly missed by his loving family, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Sunday (June 19th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Monday (June 20th) in the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Clogheen.
Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery, Glasheen Road.
