The October Cork City athlete of the month award goes to Conor Callinan, Colaiste an Chroi Naofa and Leevale AC.
Conor Callinan (Colaiste an Chroi Naofa and Leevale AC) is the October recipient of the Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month award. On the 5th October Conor won the Intermediate Boys Pole Vault at the 92nd South Munster Schools Championship, at CIT Track.
His winning height of 4.20m set a new record for the event, eclipsing the 34 year old record by 60cm.
