The Cork City Sports Athletic Person for the month of April is Louise Shanahan (UCC and Leevale AC). On the 13th April at the Irish Universities Championships in Athlone Louise fought off all opposition to claim her first varsity title in her specialist the 800m. Her time in the 800m final was 2:13.76
