Forty seven (47) athletes from fifteen (15) Cork Clubs have been named on the Cork Masters squads for the Athletics Ireland National Intermediate and Masters Cross-Country Championships, at Dundalk IT, Co Louth on Sunday February 3rd 2019

If you CANNOT make it, please let Paddy Buckley know immediately. If you are doubtful, please let Paddy know - your place will be held, but replacements may be put on standby notice - Cork Athletics wants to field full squads in all events - please help us do that!

Adult Schedule

Masters Women & M65 Men - Start 13:30 - Distance 4km

Masters Men - Start 14:00 - Distance 7km

 Intermediate Women - Start 14:40 - Distance 5km

Intermediate Men - Start 15:10 - Distance 8km

Important Notes

  • All Squad Athletes, who are confirmed with Cork Athletics Team Manager Paddy Buckley, will be entered by Cork Athletics
  • All athletes *MUST* be registered by their clubs
  • Each squad athlete who runs on the day will receive am allowance for travel and subsistence, paid to their club
  • Athletes run in Club singlets

    Cork will NOT be entering Intermediate Men's or Women's Teams
    All athletes wishing to run in the Intermediate Championships MUST be entered by their own respective clubs

Cork Athletics County Board is a constituent member of Athletics Ireland. Cork Athletics is the governing body, administering athletics, track and field (T&F), cross-country (XC) and running in county Cork. The Board comprises elected representatives of constituent athletic clubs and running clubs. Cork County Board AAI organises Championship races and competition, including road, track & field (T&F) and Cross-country (XC), at junior, juvenile, senior and masters levels, and selects representation for the county. In addition, training and education is provided for coaches and officials. The Board also regulates the Athletics Ireland race/event permit (licence) process for county Cork.
