The Cork City Sports Athlete for the Month for November 2018 is Darragh McElhinney (Bantry AC).
On the 25th November, Darragh was a comprehensive winner of the National Junior (Under 20) Cross-Country Championship, held at the National Sports Campus in Abbottstown, Dublin. Darragh followed up on this run, on the Irish Under-20 team, with a very creditable 16th place, at the European Cross-Country Championships, in Tilburg, The Netherlands.
