Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month - July 2018 - Award Citation

July 2018 Citation

Michelle Finn, Leevale AC, is the Cork City Sports Athlete for the Month of July 2018. At the National Senior Track and Field Championships, in Santry, Dublin, Michelle won the 3,000m steeplechase, in a championship best time of 9:46.19. This time also secured Michelle's place on the Irish team for the European championships in Berlin.

This afternoon, Tuesday August 21st, 2018, Michelle Finn, Leevale AC was presented with the Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month Award for July 2018

June 2015 Award

This is Michelle's second individual Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month Award, having previously received the award in June 2015. Michelle also received the award, in a team capacity, in, April 2015 and November 2017, when the Leevale AC Women's team were the nominees.
