NOTES

leevale summer evening meet notes 2020

 

  • Online Entries for at events at www.leevale.org
  • Entry Fee €5 for per event, capped at €10
  • 100m finalists will be based on times. Two runs are guaranteed for each athlete
  • 200m, 400m & 400mH will be on times
  • Races will be graded based on 2019 SBs
  • Covid-19 Tracker App is a required condition for access and participation
  • All entries will be Online in advance, and all athletes must agree to abide by the Athletics Ireland Guide for Athletes
  • There will be no entries on the day.
  • When registering, athletes must indicate if a coach will attend, and provide contact details. Only precleared people will be allowed to attend
  • There will be a cap on the number of athletes per event. Athletes competing in National Junior & Senior Championships will have preference
  • Entry to the track will be limted to officials, preregistered athletes and their preregistered coaches
  • The throws athletes will bring their own implements, and must throw and collect each time
  • There will no prize giving or prizes, just good competition
                   

About Us

Cork Athletics County Board is a constituent member of Athletics Ireland. Cork Athletics is the governing body, administering athletics, track and field (T&F), cross-country (XC) and running in county Cork. The Board comprises elected representatives of constituent athletic clubs and running clubs. Cork County Board AAI organises Championship races and competition, including road, track & field (T&F) and Cross-country (XC), at junior, juvenile, senior and masters levels, and selects representation for the county. In addition, training and education is provided for coaches and officials. The Board also regulates the Athletics Ireland race/event permit (licence) process for county Cork.
