Graded Leagues 2017 Series Header

Rebecca McEvoy, Cork Athletics PRO writes:

"Round 1 of the John Buckley Sports Graded Track and Field Leagues is coming up on Wednesday 24th April.

This League is a series of track and field meets, graded to suit athletes of all levels of ability. There will be four meets over the summer months (24th April, 23rd May, 28th June and 15th July). Each meet will feature different events, and these events will be graded, to cater for different standards, from track-beginners who want to try their hand at track, and field events for the first time, to high-standard fields for experienced track athletes.

The first meet, on 24h April, features 100m, 400m and Mile races on the track, as well as Long Jump, Javelin and Shot Put. Entry is just €5 on the night, with field events beginning at 7:30pm and track events at 7:45pm.

These Leagues are a great opportunity for athletes of all ages and abilities to give track and field events a go, and it would be great to see a turnout from our Cork clubs!"
