Matt Horsnell has been Nicola McDermott's personal coach since she was 10 years old. He has shaped her from a girl who jumped in school carnivals to a world class high jumper. They have trained together every week for the last 14 years. She says his leadership and encouragement has allowed her to be the person and athlete she is today
