Starting at O’Donovan Rossa GAA, just off the Schull Road Roundabout, down to roundabout, turning left onto the Marsh Road. Proceeding towards Caheragh, keeping the Ballyhilty Bridge to the right, continue on towards Lahertidaly, and Gortnamuchlagh, before turning left at Slieveen Cross. Then climbing up to Clancys Cross and turning left on to Coolbane. Take the next left past Coolbawn Lodge Bed and Breakfast, down through the forest, and the top of Skeagh. Now you are in top of the world, and its nearly all downhill from here. Running through Reencorn, past Lissanuhig, on to the last mile and the beautiful Abbeystrwery School. The last mile makes for a very fast downhill finish, sweeping you back to where you started, just outside O’Donovan Rossa GAA

Both races and walk start and finish at the entrance to the O'Donovan Rossa GAA grounds.

The ten mile race heads up the Marsh road, turning left after 2.5 miles, with another left at Clancy’s Cross, which then has the runners heading towards Skeagh wood, where another left brings them up a gradual climb, through the wood at the 6 mile marker. The race then heads back towards the Abbey, and joins the 5 mile course with 1.5 miles to go. The last mile is all downhill to the finish at Rossa Park.
