Looks like just two Cork athletes competed in this year's
championships, one each in the Senior Mens and Senior Women's
Championships:
Senior Men
Colm
Sheahan, Leevale AC, was 7th in the Senior Men, in 38:54. Mick
Clohisey, Raheny Shamrock AC, won the event, in 36:53, with Sergiu
Ciobanu, Clonliffe AC, second in 37:26, with Brendan O'Neill, Dundrum
South Dublin AC, third, in 37:35.
Senior Women
Cork woman, Aoife Quigley, who runs with Crusaders AC, in Dublin,
placed 12th, in 33:15. Maria McCambridge, Dundrum South Dublin
AC, won in 27:26, with clubmates Sarah Mulligan and Michelle McGee,
second and third, in 28:54 and 29:04, respectively.
