IAAF Introduces New Qualification System for World Championships

IAAF World Championships: Beijing, PR OF CHINA 22 - 30 AUG 2015

The IAAF has announced a new qualification system for the 2015 World Championships, combining entry standards (there is only one standard - the 'B' standard system is gone) and invitations based on rankings

Qualification Period:

The qualification periods run from January 1, 2014, to August 10, 2015, for the 10,000m, marathon, race walks, relays and combined events, and from October 1, 2014, to August 10, 2015, for all other events.
