Because of changes within Fota Wildlife Park, including the
opening of the new African Savannah tiger enclosure, the traditional 4
Mile route has been altered, to enclude the new areas within Fota
Wildlife Park. As a result, the distance has been reduced to
5k.
Juvenile 1 Mile
This year, an innovative 1 Mile race is being introduced for
Juveniles aged 11 to 15 years. Entry is limited to 200
Juveniles. This event will be chip timed and will start at
7:15pm, while the main event, the 5k, will start at 8pm.
Entries for the 5k open on Thursday April 28th, at 10:00am, with 450
places on offer. The remaining 450 places will become available at
7pm. When they're gone ...They're GONE!! NB!!
If you missed
out at 10am, do try again at 7pm.
Entries for the Juvenile 1 Mile open on Thursday May 5th, at 10:00am,
with 100
places on offer. The remaining 100 places will become available at 7pm.
