- €10.00 for the Race, or €5 for the Walk
Enter on the day, in Race HQ - Clonpriest School. Entry on

"Set in the beautiful village of Gortroe in East Cork, the Parents
Association of the local National School invite you once again to join
us on the roads to walk, jog or run this Fast, Flat 5K PB course.
For 2016 the evening promises to be an even bigger and better event
than last year.
- Chip timing is back and means that race results and your official
race time will be available once you cross the line.
- Our route has a maximum elevation of just 15 metres so it IS a really
Flat course - many claim it, but few deliver it!
- ONLINE
REGISTRATION will speed things up, but you can still register on
the night if you prefer
Race Information
"The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the Clonpriest
National School.
This race is organised and run with the help of Atheltics Ireland,
Youghal AC and a small army of volunteers.
With Chip Timing the results will be available immedialely after
the race, we'll post them here on the site later that night but you
also receive your own personal time by text to your mobile
afterwards,(where you have registered a phone number).
We have carefully chosen, formally measured and tested this route, to
make sure that it's flat and fast for those of you interested in speed,
while the more laid back will have a lovely evening out on the roads of
East Cork.
Registration is online or at the school on the
night.
On the day we'll take registrations from 5 to 7.45pm (6.50pm for
walkers)
Race Numbers and Timing Chips will be available for collection at the
school until 7:45 - please come early!
Toilets
Toilets,changing and bag drop will also be available in the
Community Hall which is in the centre of the village.
Limited access to Toilets will also be available at school."

The race starts at 8:00pm,
near the school in Gortroe - see map, it'll be clearly marked and
signposted on the night.
The Walk starts at 7:00pm,
immediately outside the school .
A rewarding spread of sandwiches, cakes, teas and coffees await
you at
the hall immediately afterwards.

afterwards with refreshments.
Race Entrants must be over 18.
Under ages welcome on the walk but they must be accompanied by an
adult.
No iPods/MP3s - penalty is
disqualification.

There will also be prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Over 40 (M&F), 1st
& 2nd Over 45 & 50 (M&F) and 1st Over 55, O-60, O-65 &
O-70 (M&F)
