Glounthaune Community
Association is holding the Fitzpatrick's GCA 4-Mile Run, on Wednesday
2nd September 2015, at 7.15pm - Walk 6.00pm.
Parking
Parking will be provided at Craig's Field beside, the Community Centre
and also at the Glounthaune and Little Island train stations.

www.precisiontiming.net, and at the new Church Centre - opposite the church, from 5:00pm on the day, Wednesday 2nd
September 2015.
Entry Fee: Race €10 - Walk €5

Changing Facilities
Male and female changing rooms and toilets will be available at the
Community Centre in the village - as you enter Glounthaune from the
west (Cork city) turn right at the church crossroads.
Entertainment and Refreshments
Excellent post race refreshments will be served in The Great O'Neill
along with the presentation of prizes. DJ, Music and Craic - provided by Kieran Hayes from the Close Shave

Course Details
The route starts westerly,, in the direction of Cork City/Little Island, turning
right after two miles and returning on a picturesque section of road
parallel to the outward leg, re-joining the main road near the Island
Gate restaurant. It then continues back past Glounthaune church, finishing
just before Fitzpatrick’s shop.
