Weather Forecast, as at 18:00, Sunday 31st May

Rain
It looks like it will start out dry, with light rain/drizzle setting in around 10am, getting a bit heavier for 1pm.  By 4pm, it is expected to be 2 to 3mm/hour.

Wind

It is going to be pretty windy throughout, giving rise to a wind chill drop in temperature. If anything, the wind seems to be strengthening, particularly from around 12 noon.

Temperature
Temperature looks like being around 10 - 12 degrees, however this will be tempered by a wind chill, due to the strong winds.  For later finishers, the heavy rain will make for an even colder feeling.

The Relay Route is exactly the same as the Marathon, and starts at the same time, running in parallel.  There are 5 legs:

Route Changes for 2015
There is one small, but welcome, change in the route this year - the "Hairpin" at madden's Buildings, at approx. 2.5 Miles, is gone.  Runners will now run straight through onto the New Mallow Road, where. previously, they first swung left, towards Blackpool, and then did a 180 degree turn, around a traffic island, before heading back towards the city centre.
There is a corresponding change to the start line, in Patrick Street - the start line moves back down the street, to compensate for the change in Blackpool.  The new start is approx. 23m north of the Finish Line - towards Patrick's Bridge.
