Athlete Transfer Deadline - August 24th 2015
Athletes wishing to transfer clubs are reminded that the deadline for
the return of fully completed transfer forms is Monday
August 24th.
Forms received after that date CANNOT be accepted.
Transfer
forms may be downloaded from the
Athletics Ireland website.
The Procedure on the form MUST
be followed.
Completed forms should be given/posted to Cork AAI County Board
Registrar, John Copithorne, Belgooley, Co. Cork
John Copithorne's residence is private, so do NOT call there with the form,
also, please do NOT
send by registered post. As John must be there to sign for the
letter, this will result in delay.
Do NOT send your
form to Athletics Ireland head office - this will result in delay, in
returning it to the County Registrar, in all liklihood, missing the
deadline.
Athletes transferring should start the process early, as the outgoing
club has up to 21 days to sign the form before the non-signing of the
form is considered a refusal. Inter-County transfer also take
longer to process.
