Updated Cork Registration Figures as at May 23rd 2016

Cork Registrations stand at a record 6,405, an increase of 3.73% on May 1st's figure of 6,175

Outstanding 2016 Athletics Ireland Registrations are now Due

Clubs are urged to register their athletes without further delay. A small number of clubs have yet to register any athlete and one club has yet to register the minimum number of ten athletes.

NB: The "grace period" which covered re-registration, ended on January 31st. All athletes competing in Championship or representative events MUST be registered.  Equally, all coaches, athletes and officials must also be registered.

Any athlete or official who remains unregistered is NOT covered by Athletics Ireland insurance.  Therefore such individuals should be covered by the respective club's own separate insurance. 
NB: In the absence of any insurance being in place, club officers may be personally liable.

Club Registrars are reminded that there is a new Registration System in operation.

Ballymore-Cobh AC remain at the head of the standings, with Eagle AC just behind. Mallow AC have jumped into third place. Midleton AC are marginally ahead of a group containing Leevale AC, Mallow AC, Youghal AC, and Ballintotis Fit For Life. St Finbarr's AC have also joined this group, having registered a large number of athletes recently. There are eleven clubs with over 100 registered adult members
