Several Cork athletes took part in today's AAI Combined Events
Championsips, held at the Athlone IT Indoor facility, with wins for
Daniel Hurley (Old Abbey AC), Grace McKenzie (Belgooly AC) and Roisin
Howard (Bandon AC.

Juvenile Girls
U-14 Girls, Lia O'Brien (Midleton AC), was 9th of 17 competitors, on
1890 points
U-15 Girls; Aisling Cassidy (Bandon AC) placed 4th on 2587 points, just
40 points behind the Bronze medal position, with clubmate, Ella Stack
in 6th place on 2381 points
U-16 Girls; Ciara McKeon (Bandon AC) placed 5th, on 2789 points, with
clubmates Laura Nicholson, 7th, on 2616, amd Moira Barrett, 8th, on
2495, and Aoibhin O'Connor, Liscarroll AC, in 9th place on 2472.
Juvenile Boys
In the U-14 Boys, Daniel Hurley (Old Abbey AC), took gold with 2535
points, ahead of clubmate Diarmuid O'Connor, on 2274 points.
Old Abbey also secured Silver in the U-15 Boys, with Brian Lynch, on
2814, just 55 points behind winner Darragh Miniter, of St Mary's AC
(Clare), on 2269.

Roisin Howard, Bandon AC, was a clear winner on 3251 points
