The March Cork City athlete of the month award goes to Fiona Everard, Bandon AC and NUI Galway
Fiona Everard, Bandon AC and NUI Galwa, is the Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month for April 2023. After a stellar cross-country season Fiona, representing NUIG, recorded a comprehensive 5000m victory at the Irish Universities Championships, held on the new DSD track in Dublin, on April 22nd. Earlier in the cross-country season, Fiona produced a solid top 10 performance at the National Senior championships, in Donegal, followed by a runaway victory at the National Novice championship two weeks later
