January 27 – South Munster
Schools Cross Country Results
January 22 – Munster Squad Day
The 2nd Munster Squad day of the
2011/2012 season takes place on Sunday 5th February at Nenagh Indoor Stadium Co Tipperary.
The following are the details for the day:
- Munster Development Squad 10am-12pm with registration at 9.30am sharp.
This session is for all u14 (1999)-u20 (1993) athletes in 2012 age groups. This
is open to all athletes from all clubs in Munster and the cost is €5 payable at
registration at 9.30am. The events covered on the day will be Sprints, Hurdles,
Shot and Long Jump.
- Munster Performance Squad 12.30pm-4pm with registration at 12.15pm
sharp. This session is only open to the 85 athletes slected on the performance
squad via letter to their club and parents before Christmas. This is for those
selected athletes in the u17 (1996)-u21 (1992) age groups in 2012. The head
event coach for each event will e-mail the personal coaches with plans for the
day.
Irish Team Coach Br. John Dooley will
also be in attendance, acting as guest speaker for the performance squad at
12.30pm sharp with the sessions starting at 1pm.

January 22 – County Intermediate /
Masters Cross Country Teams for Roscommon, February 5th
Athletes wishing to travel on the County Board bus to
Boyle should give their names to county secretary by Thursday 6 p.m (Anne
Murray 087 1422992) Places will be on a first come first served basis.
Athletes wishing to run for Cork should contact Michael O'Herlihy for the
Intermediate and John Quigley for the Masters Entries must be in Dublin by
Friday!

you wish to be nominated or have an athlete nominated on the Cork County
Masters Cross Country teams for the National Masters Cross Country
Championships on Sunday 5th February 2011, Boyle, Co. Roscommon @ 2pm
(Women)/2:20pm (Men).
John has asked that nominations are submitted to him ASAP/Immediately to
be included on the team, as teams must be entered by Friday next, Jan 27th.
The County Board will be sending a bus.
Intermediate championships
are on the same day, please contact Michael O’Herlihy if you wish to be
