Equipment Grant

Defibrillator | Sports First Aid Kit |
For the 2014 year, Cork Co Board are offering clubs a grant towards the
cost of essential safety equipment.
The Board will pay 50% of the costs, up to €1,000, for defibrillators
and other safety equipment, such as first aid kits, and safety
training, such as CPR, Defibrillator and/or first-aid training courses
.
In other words, if your equipment and/or training costs €2,000, a
grant of €1,000 may be payable. If in doubt about what's covered,
contact Pat Walsh.
Clubs that already have a defibrillator may wish to buy a
second one.
Proof of purchase, such as an invoice or receipt should be submitted to
Pat Walsh, Treasurer, Cork Co Board.
Clubs are reminded that a Safety Plan MUST
now be submitted with race permit applications, consequently possession
of safety equipment is all the more important.
