Death of Dr. Cashel Riordan, RIP

Dr. Cashel Riordan, former Irish International Sprinter, and winner of many Irish titles, sadly passed away on Monday last, February 1st. He gave a lifetime service to athletics as an athlete with St Finbarrs, U.C.C, Birchfield Harriers, then as member of The Cork City Sports. He will be especially remembered as an outstanding Starter, fulfilling that role with distinction at the Colleges Championships & Cork City Sports for many many years.

Athletics has lost one of its greatest servants. R.I.P.

Funeral arrangements

Removal arriving on Tuesday evening at 7pm at St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock. Requiem Mass at 11am on Wednesday and Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock. House private.
