The women's race starts at 13:35pm, while the men's race starts at
14:10pm.
TV Coverage
The Event is being covered live on BBC1 TV, from 13:30pm to
15:30pm.
While Ireland was entitled to enter a full team of four athletes,
Lizzie Lee is Ireland's sole representative, as many of our elite women
have been, or will be, chasing Olympic qualifiing times recently.
In an interview with Cork Athletics, last Monday, Lizzie outlined her
plans leading up to the Olympics, including Saturday's Half-Marathon,
saying that the event wasn't a key race for her, but that she hopes to
run a PB and this is likely to be her final Half-Marathon before the
Olympics. However she is planning to run a 10,000 track race, her
first, during the summer. She has been accepted to run in the
British Olympic 10,000m trials in Highgate, London.
