"Join us for Ras Baile Mhuirne - the first in the Na Rasai series of races! This 7k road race will start at 5pm on Sunday, 15th May in one of the most beautiful places in Ireland, the heart of the Muscrai Gaeltacht!

Register from 4:00pm on race day in the community hall in Baile Mhuirne (next to Scoil Aban Naofa national school) and the race will start close to Dairygold Co-Op Store.

Prizes
1st/2nd Man and Woman, 1st Man and Woman over 40, 1st Man and Woman over 50.

This race is being organised by Ballyvourney Tidy Towns Committee in conjunction with West Muskerry Athletics Club, and supported by Comharchumann Forbartha Mhuscrai Teo. and Oireachtas na Gaeilge.

Event Proceeds

All proceeds from the race will go towards the Tidy Towns Committee for the continuous maintenance and upkeep of the village. AAI licence granted.

T Shirt

The first 100 to register will receive a 'Na Rásaí' t-shirt.

Entry Fee

€10 entry fee for runners and walkers can donate what they wish.

This race is a straight 'out and back' course.  The vast majority of courses are 'Loop' type courses, so participants in this race will have a great opportunity to see how the race unfolds.
