Races:

10 Mile Run (11:00 am) - This is an AAI certified course 
5km Fun Run (11:00 am) - This is not an AAI certified course - Starts near the 9 Mile mark in the 10Mile race, and continues up to the school, around a barrel in the road, and then back to the Community Hall.
5km Walk (11:00 am)

From Bantry town follow road to Glengarriff passing Casey’s Petrol station.

Take the next right, past Casey’s at Donemark Bridge.

Continue straight on this road for over 4 miles noting a school sign and a signpost for Kealkill to the left and Dunmanway straight on.

Follow the Dunmanway road.

From Ballylickey come to Bantry Golf Club and take next left at Donemark Bridge and follow road as above.

Start area is about 10 minutes from Donemark Bridge.

The Road will have race signs on it with stewards to direct you to appointed parking area.

Allow 15 minutes to drive from Bantry Town centre to the Mealagh Valley Ring Parking. Please note that if you are bringing a car, the car park is a few minutes from the race start line.

Race Information:

1.  Start and Finish lines are not at the same point on the course. The Start line is at Ards (approx 1 km from the Finish Line). The Finish Line is at the Community Hall.       

Courses are clearly marked, and marshalls will be on hand, for directions, and for your safety. Please follow any instructions the Marshalls give you. The Road is not closed so be careful, but they are small roads, and local residents are aware of the Race!
2.  Number collection (and Registration) will be on the morning of the Race, and will close 30 mins before the start times of the races:   

ALL PARTICIPANTS (WALKERS AND RUNNERS) MUST COLLECT A RACE NUMBER AT THE REGISTRATION OFFICE)

PARKING can be up to 20 minutes from the registration office, and then allow 7 minutes to get to the Start Line. Please allow enough time to park and collect your race  numbers and be at the start line on time!  
3.    Bag Drop – There will be a bag drop at the registration office, bags will then be taken to the Community Hall (Finish Line ) for collection . 

           Please do not leave anything of value in your bags –  the bags will be looked after, but they won't be locked in a safe!!
