Updated Cork Registration Figures as at March 15th 2016

Cork Registration figures stand at a record 5,263, an increase of 3.8% on last week's 5,070, while the number at the end of February 2015 was 4,195

2016 Athletics Ireland Registrations are now Due

Clubs are urged to register their athletes without further delay. A small number of clubs have yet to register any athlete and one club has yet to register the minimum number of ten athletes.

NB: The "grace period" which covered re-registration, ended on January 31st. All athletes competing in Championship or representative events MUST be registered. Equally, all coaches, athletes and officials must also be registered.

Any athlete or official who remains unregistered is NOT covered by Athletics Ireland insurance. Therefore such individuals should be covered by the respective club's own separate insurance.
NB: In the absence of any insurance being in place, club officers may be personally liable.

Club Registrars are reminded that there is a new Registration System in operation.

Cork Club Standings - March 9th 201

In terms of membership, the top ten clubs outstrip the remaining thirty five registered clubs, as at February 28th, with 2,516 registrations, while the thirty four other clubs have a combined registered membership of 2,274.
