The Munster Athletics 2016 Road
Championships takes place in
Kilnaboy, Co. Clare, at 13:00pm, on Sunday next, April 2nd.
The event is organised and hosted by Kilnaboy
AC,
on
behalf of Munster

Notes
- All athletes must be registered with Athletics Ireland for
2016.
- Club or County Colours must be worn.
- Distance for all categories is 4 Miles
- Novice athletes must be 19 years or over on 31/12/2016.
- Senior athletes must be 18 years or over on
31/12/2016.
Entry Fees:
- 5 euro per individual, 20 euro per Club Team, and 20 euro
per County Team.
- Athletes may enter all 3 age categories on the day. Fee for
entry in two, or three, categories is 10 euro. When
entering online, just click on the relevant 2 age category
or 3 age category options.
- Entry by Club/County Secretaries only.

Cork Teams

Resulting from a decision at the Munster Athletics AGM, in January
2016, the first athletes from each county crossing the finish line will
be automatically counted as scoring for that county, for Munster
Championships only. Consequently, Cork teams will no longer be
nominated for Munster Championships.
Each club is responsible for
entering their own members. Club members must wear their own club colours
The Cork county teams will then be formed by the first 12 Cork athletes to cross the finish line, with the first 4, or 6, as per the table above, forming the scoring Cork
county team.
